Kimmy – purple bow / feminine and girly / walks with an attitude LD (Lisa Diana) – white bow / looking over her glasses and pushing them on her face / glass holder string / sour face / mouth drop /looks pouty and disinterested. The Naughty Dogs are sisters. They do not care about others. They only care about themselves. They wander here and there, thinking the world revolves around them. They want special treatment even though they are unkind to everyone and make fun of other dogs. (Two white dogs running, prancing and biting another dog’s tail, then laughing and running away) They think they are in control, until one day life shifts and everything changes. Kimmy and LD’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Klein are loving and sweet. Mrs. Klein has just put the dogs out in their big back yard to play. The backyard is well manicured and has many trees and flowers. Mrs. Klein is a very beautiful, elegant woman of 35. She is a lawyer who loves her dogs so much that they are like her children. The house keeper, Esmerelda is constantly cleaning up after the dogs. Although she loves her job, these dogs try her patience every day.
Page 1 (Esmerelda puts Kimmy and LD out in the backyard while she is washing clothes.) Kimmy says to LD, “Let’s see who can get to the potted geraniums first!”
Page 2 The two dogs run as fast as they can and Kimmy knocks over the plant. The pot goes flying and the dirt lands all over LD’s very clean white bow. LD is stunned for a moment and can’t get up.
Page 3 Kimmy just darts back and forth with glee. When Esmerelda comes out and sees what has happened, she scolds them, “You get away from Mrs. Klein’s plants.” Raising her voice, she says, “Kimmy! Lisa Diana! YouNaughty Naughty Dogs!”
Page 4 Playing and running, they don’t even care. They just want to be free to do whatever they want – and they always seem to get away with it. Kimmy sticks her tongue out at LD.
Page 5 Just then, they see a squirrel run up a tree and they both start running after it. Kimmy pushes ahead saying, “step aside LD, I can see better than you.”
Page 6 But LD pushes her glasses onto her nose and says, “I don’t have to listen to you. I have a better plan.” LD sees a stool. Grabbing the leg of the stool with her mouth, she drags it over to the tree.
